WHY WE EXIST

We exist for many different reasons. We would like to share a few with you below. If you have any questions feel free to reach out to us. Thanks so much!

We feel that God has a very specific plan for us. We do our very best to follow that plan as closely as possible. We believe that as we are obedient to the Lord's plans, He will exceed all of our expectations.

  • REACH the lost and the broken. 

  • We exist to WORSHIP our Lord in Spirit and in Truth.

  • SERVE in our local community of Redding. Our community is comprised of people who have real needs. We exist to REACH these people.

  • We exist to help usher in FAITH, HOPE, and LOVE to people in our city. We want them to know that they are not alone and someone loves and cares for them.

  • We exist to GROW God's Kingdom. We understand we are a part of a larger body. We want to do our part to grow the Kindgom of God.

At Valley, our desire is to align our hearts to God's. The church is not a building, but a family of believers. We ecourage people to leave our weekly gatherings, on mission, to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ to people down the hall, who live next door, throughout the city of Redding, CA, to the furthest reaches in the world.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

We believe that Jesus Christ is God incarnate, fully God and fully man, that He was conceived and born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, and sacrificed Himself to be punished in substitution for sinners. By the blood of Jesus on the cross and His resurrection from the dead, He obtained for us eternal redemption, the forgiveness of sins, and life everlasting. He was raised bodily and ascended to the right hand of the Father. He will return to the earth personally and visibly to consummate His kingdom.
